About Us

In 2020, Matt started 321 for 3.21, a way for him to raise awareness for including all people with Down syndrome. Over the next 3 years, it became a fundraiser for a local non-profit, raising nearly $30,000 to support their programs. However, the bike ride was 321 miles over 3 days (ouch!), and was not inclusive.

Meanwhile, Molly was working through the University of Washington’s Haring Center, working on the IPP Demonstration Sites Project. She was seeing how much inclusive education, and universally designed learning benefited the kids, the schools, and the communities.

But when they would go to sign their daughters up for camps or classes, they found how different it was to register them - because Phoebe, their oldest, was born with Down syndrome. Even inclusive classes had difficulty adjusting their lesson plans to support every learning ability. Many organizations would not accommodate Phoebe so that she could engage with the activity alongside her peers.

So that’s why R.I.D.E 4 All was created: to provide inclusive recreational activities to kids and families with all abilities

Mission

We are a Washington State Non-Profit organization and recognized as a 501(c)3.
